This was such a wonderful family. I first met Jennifer from a wedding I shot a couple of years ago, she was one of the beautiful bridesmaids. I was very happy to be able to shoot their family portraits. We had a great evening, one of my favorite places to shoot is the Fort Worth Post Office downtown. It’s such a great place and the water gardens are just across the street. Jennifer is a hair stylist at McKenzie’s Salon in Mansfield. Doug is a football and basketball coach at Kennedale High School. Miss Colbie is just the cutest thing ever, she loved the water and had a great time. She was perfect for the camera! Well here are my favorites from their session, I hope you enjoy!

{Ana:: Senior Flower Mound High School}

Hello Miss Ana! Ana graduated early from high school and is now working and taking some college classes. When she is not doing either of those you will probably find her hitting the stores shopping. When we spoke about where she wanted to take her senior portraits and I got to know a little more about her, downtown Dallas was the perfect spot for her. This was my first time at this location and I instantly fell in love. We had a blast going from spot to spot and just having fun. Ana did an amazing job in front of the camera and I just love how these turned out! Oh and by the way she just so happens to be my cousin, so that explains how awesome she is! Congratulations Ana and I wish you all the luck for the future!

I cannot wait to celebrate my sweet niece’s 5th birthday this weekend. Harper and Lexi are best friends and I’m so happy that they are the same age and can grow up together! I shot these a while back but just now posting them. Happy Birthday Lexi and see you this weekend!

{Michael & Kelsey:: Aubrey Wedding}

I have been so excited for this wedding. I first met these two last fall when we did their engagement session. They were so cute and were not afraid to show affection for the camera. I love that! Kelsey looked amazing in her beautiful dress. We started the day at their home in Little Elm as the girls got ready. Then headed to the beautiful Harmony Chapel in Aubrey. Aubrey is a little far from me but it was well worth the drive, it was a wonderful place for an April wedding. There were so many great pictures, I had a hard time narrowing it down for the blog. Congrats again to the two love birds and thanks so much for having me document this day for you both!!!!

Meet Connor. He’s a senior at Boyd High School in McKinney, works at Top Golf, played football, will be attending Texas Tech and just happens to be my awesome cousin! I had a great time with this guy and his mom, Marci! I used to want to be just like Marci when I was little. We had an amazing place to take these pictures at, a garage full of classic cars and a gorgeous piece of property. What guy wouldn’t want to take pictures with that, well the cars at least! Special thanks to Lisa Clark and her parents, Mr & Mrs Clark for allowing us to roam their property and pretend that the cars were ours! Here are my favorites from the session. {The B Family:: Las Colinas Canals}

First I have to say thanks to the Bedford family for meeting me for their session last Thursday. I had a blast with this awesome family. After dodging brides and runners for spots we managed to get quite a few good images. Reece and Kenidi are so stinking cute and did a fabulous for the camera. The final images are of course my favorite because it’s a little different that what I normally get to shoot… water! I did feel bad because Nolan got pretty much all of his jean pants wet but I hope these images make up for it! Thanks for braving the cold water! Enjoy and thanks again!

Oh Boy, I have been wanting to post these images for a while now! I am so happy with how they turned out and Kelsey looked amazing! Her blonde locks and the sunset are just perfect! I feel like I’ve been living at the Canals lately but it’s such a good place to take picutres, and my clients love it! Michael and Kelsey were married yesterday at the beautiful Harmony Chapel and I can’t wait to post those images later. So for now you will have to settle on these. Enjoy your Sunday!

{Tim & Claudia:: Private Wedding}

What a beautiful wedding this was. A perfect day, an amazing backyard, an awesome couple and a good time! Congrats to Tim and Claudia on their special day. I had a blast with this wedding. It was simple and sweet and was a breath of fresh air. I was a little obsessed with the huge trees and only wished they were in my backyard. Diana, which is Claudia’s sister and one of the beautiful bridesmaids, is one of my favorite clients and I was thrilled when she referred me to her sister. That is the best feeling! I could photograph this whole wedding again in a heartbeat! From the pool to the crazy dancing by Alex! lol Tim’s two daughters were just precious as well. One of them was a little scared of the “doodle bugs” and was finally convinced to hold one, after a pinky promise. She was excited afterwards, you can see those photos below. I hope you all enjoy these and remember this day forever!

{Dave & Britanie:: Mansfield Wedding}

Congratulations to Dave and Britanie on their wedding. It was a perfect day for one. We started out at the hotel getting ready, the fun part was hanging the dress from a tree. I couldn’t have done it without my super awesome assistant, Kaycee. From there we headed to Wildscape Ranch in Mansfield for a beautiful ceremony and fun reception. Dave and Britanie were one of my favorite couples and I could not be any happier for them. Dave, Britanie and Kaydence are going to be such an amazing family together.
